Pied~Piper standing in the field. Ungroomed, but as you can see, with my fiber management routine little to no grooming is necessary to keep their fiber clean and ready for harvest. I spray a solution of diluted Laser Sheen lightly on everyone 2 to 3 times a week while they are eating their grain. I just go thru with my spray bottle and no one knows the difference. They just continue eating and pay me no mind. This practice is an invaluable tool in my fiber management routine. Saves lots of time and provides valuable luxury fiber at harvest time.

Zadoc is showing off his Angel white single coat fleece that has won 4 different fiber shows with 1st places, Grand Champion and best of show. We are very proud of the wonderful fiber this guy provides us. We don't show Zadok anymore as we don't want to add any stress on him because he is our Main Man for our Luxury Fiber Business, and the less stress you place on your fiber animals the better fiber they can provide you with. Tensile strength is a very important aspect of healthy fiber for spinning to make yarns for fine garments. If your animal is stressed or has had a recent illness or poor nutrition, it will show in the fiber they produce. This is just another way when choosing a llama for your very own to be able to judge the health and well being of the animal you've fallen in love with. Just an extra reason why you should buy the animal, as if you need to be persuaded or to have any other reason? :-)

Good 'n Plenty
Good 'n Plenty is our Jr. Herd Sire. He is 3 years old and will Sire his 1st offspring this Fall. Good 'n Plenty is our "Berry B Good" son with FVL Sirius as his Sire. This guy is very heavy boned, "True" solid black single coat 1st place prize winning fiber, has a very long sleek stretching neck. Great conformation and body Lot's of personality and is very willing to please. We can touch Goody any where and pick up all of four feet without having to restrain him. He is super easy to groom. He is a very trusting llama and should pass that along to his cria. Watch for Good 'n Plenty's cria to hit the ground in the Fall of 2004.

Cupid is our Adult Male gelding and all around versatile llama. He is excellent guardian of predators that may enter the pastures. He dresses in costume for parades and meets the public with style and grace. He is also trained in performance, obstacles, public relations and pack.
